Speaking of gross, I have a friend who dunks kit kats in tomato soup. _pale_

Once, while camping I, due to a spoon oversight, found that ginger nuts are delicious when eaten with baked beans. Digestives were too crumbly but the ginger nut not only had structural integrity but added a real depth of flavour to the beans. Highly recommended :D

    Biscuit for dunking?

It's a wet Bank Holiday weekend what else have I got to do then discuss the time honoured tradition of biscuit dunking. Scientists believe it to be Rich Tea. Biscuit.org say it's the custard cream personally you can't beat a digestive O.H says Hobnob cream.

Please don't go off piste and bring the desired liquid to dunk in, that'll just open a can of worms.

That's ironic - as this whole thread is 'off piste' - why not post in Discussion Time board?

    Dark chocolate digestives mmmmm
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

Rich teas in threes so that they don't break. After the first dunk a corner at a time.

A whole packet if necessary x

If you don't like my or any post and don't want to join in why go to the effort of posting.

    Rich Tea!

Love sitting down with a cuppa and a pack of Rich Tea :-D
  • The best biscuits for dunking are McVities Milk Chocolate Caramel Digestives. They are dunk proof as the caramel holds it together.

I'm a risk taker though and I like dunking choc hob nobs of fox's (any of the chocolate ones).

Just to be my usual awkward self and all that! ;)
I agree with you and also hate pies or pastries, reheated in microwaves, because they go soggy. Yuck.

PROPER Digestives, McVities big round and delicious! I don't dunk though, I crunch them in my mouth and drink some tea to make a nice digestive paste in my mouth.

But I wish there wouldn't be so many broken ones in the packet, I might write to Mr McVitie and complain...I alternate McVities with Hovis biscuits, Lovely!

Wouldn't give you tuppence for any chocolate-coated nonsense!
I think this job really needs

I would recommend going for the full smore. For those off you not familiar with guiding and scouting, the smore is a beautiful creation involving wedging a marshmallow between two chocolate digestives. Normally you today on a fireplace, but a hit drink will work well too. Although a banned topic, I need to add that it's worth dunking in hot chocolate for a real choccy hit!
