How much time??

I'm new to comping and I'm curious to see how much time people spend a day entering competitions! I just feel like I will never win anything!!!

I think it varies from people just entering the odd competition here and there, to the other extreme, where some people who are not working for one reason or another, who spend as much time comping as others spend on a full time job.

Personally, I work full time, but still manage to find time to enter for half an hour before work, half an hour in my lunch break and a couple of hours most evenings. At the weekends, it depends what I am doing.

Its not the time that counts as such, amount of time entering doesnt mean youll win anything but the more time you spend entering, the better the odds of winning something (as youll enter more comps, thus more likely to win a comp). Still you could enter every comp going and not win a bean and you could enter just one comp and win the prize of a lifetime.

Just enter what you can in the time youve got. Some people enter for some right tat just for the thrill of the win, just be selective in the time you have and channel your time entering for things you want, it'll make more use of your time.

I'm retired, so have the luxury of time to waste. I usually spend about an hour every morning before I get up, but as I tend to do most comps on the end date, I can easily waste the best part of a day at the end of the month! I may have a problem! Lots of wins last year, but very few so far this year, although one win was £1000. Enter and forget is advice you will often see on here, very wise.
