No hot water from electric shower

I am hoping someone will be able to help me as this is sending us mad.
Yesterday the water in our area was off for a few hours, when I came home from work it was back on and no problems until this morning when I put shower on and there is only cold water coming out.
It seems too much of a coincidence that the water was off now we do not have any hot water in the shower.
Any help would be amazing, thanks

Presuming you have the big red power switch on, I think it may be bad news:
It sounds like the water in the shower heater was sucked out of it when your main was broken. This will likely have blown a cut-out inside the unit, when it was switched on for the first time afterwards.0 -
Thank you, even more annoying because only got the shower in about 6 months ago.
Does that sound like something which can be repaired?

Manufacturer and model number of shower? Maybe search with Auntie Google and see if you can find the manual. This may lead you to the reset switch if there is one as suggested in post #2.0

It is the Triton Collection II 8.5kW Electric Shower

I will have a look for the manual thank you0 -
Don't replace with a Mira Sport 9kw on our third in seven years they last just over 2 years whilst in warranty.
The last one lasted 25 months and Mira did not want to know, offered to send a fitter £150 plus parts just bought a brand new one for £1520 -
Here is the manual. Look at trouble shooting item 3.5.1 on page 20
http://www.free-instruction-manuals.com/pdf/pa_1001738.pdf
Also look at page 17, if the safety cut-out has operated it has to be replaced.0 -

Thank you for your help, I will call who installed the shower in the morning to get it sorted. Thanks again0 -
I just realised I have one of those in a rental flat. I had to replace it between tenants, as a push button had worn out. Previous tenant was switching it on/off with the big red switch outside the bathroom.
(No help with o/p's problem, but be gentle with the buttons.)
