My trusty toaster has given up the ghost and finding a replacement is a nightmare.
I have a much loved Panasonic 2501 bread maker am finding it impossible to locate a toaster that can handle the height or width of even smallest loaf size. Lots claim to toast think slices but the height seems to be an issue.
Can any of you recommend a toaster as they all seem too shallow?

Just googled/looked for one for you.
What about this? 4 slices/2 slots, variable width

And another Breville one at Asda

I'd be tempted to shove a slice of bread in some clingfilm ... then trot off to the shops with it to "test"0 -
Ha ha. I had this problem too, and I just found the answer:
Only put half a teaspoon of yeast in your breadmaker. (Also half a teaspoon of salt & sugar.) . The bread will then fit in your toaster.0 -
I have this one, which is perfect for the longer slices of bread

I think the 2 slot 4 slice toasters are the most practical. I particulaly like the brevil at £25 however the basics one you get in Sainsburys or Tesco etc at £9 is exactly the same internally and are very good which is what I have and can handle any size of bread.0
