I've got a 4kW system on a south facing roof that was fitted last March. 4245.33 kWh for the year. Using an Immersun the solar allowed me to turn off gas for hot water from the beginning of April (sunniest on record) to the back end of September. I have now switched suppliers to Ebico because they are the only ones with no standing charge.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Looking at my spreadsheet, our array generated 1487kWh this year (April 15 - April 16). We were able to utilise 780kWh of it, saving us ~£99 for the year.1
