I'm on the verge of buying this from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Argos?category=175672&categoryName=Laptops%20&%20Netbooks&condition=1500|2000|2500|3000&refurbished:category:position1
but it says
In Pack Accessories
Usually contains non-original accessories.
That's too vague for me to order. Even at £99.99, shelling out for a safe charger is a deal-breaker for me. The video on the site won't load for me, either.

It's surely a matter of whether you consider a non-original charger as 'safe'. I have no idea how you tell. I assume that the £99.99 laptop you want is this nice pink one...0

I personally wouldn't consider the charger to be an accessory, but even if Argos do and it's non-original I would be very surprised if they included one that was in any way unsafe as it would leave them open to prosecution.

Although personally I think HP should be prosecuted for producing it in that colour in the first place!0 -
It is most likely to have the original power block. It's from Argos with a 30 day return policy, not some Hong Kong knocking (knockoff??) shop. You can order it, check it out and return it quicker than getting info on here and mulling it over;)
Less of the 'Pink'.........It's Magenta..:DDrinking Rum before 10am makes you

Look you lot, I don't want word getting round that I want a pink laptop!
Take a closer look at the OP and you'll see another hyperlink there; maybe you were distracted by the smiley appearing in the other one (that's a first for me!)0 -

you can get a charger for that from £4.20 delivered through ebay... I know there's often talk of iffy chargers from china/HK, but tbh I only ever get chargers from there and have had no problems... most of the time they'll come out of the same factory that make the "original" ones but with a different label on... it'd be worth a fiver if the little pc is otherwise ok..........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I wouldn't worry about it at all. Once bought a bright pink cerise Panasonic camera, which was on an amazing deal to put into a charity raffle here. Hubby came home and snaffled it. Couldn't believe it, until he told me that cameras were always disappearing on the ship, but no one would steal that pink one. And he was right!0
