Hi all

I am looking for an apartment in the SE London area close to a station and came across this place, iv always heard purpose built flats are better due to efficient sound proofing, but would people buy a converted house into flats?

It also seems quite expensive compared to similar places but is very nice inside, a similar one in the same block went for 325k in December. Zoopla only values this at 275k even though the asking is 350k and from all my searching its definitely worth more than that ..

    forget zoopla estimate as it depends on the last purchase price which could be a lot lower then what it was worth at the time for a number of reasons.

    350k seems reasonable I think for Croydon but probably for a bigger 2 bed flat. I would say 300-325k for this flat.
