Not a good month for me. All I won was a rug from a twitter comp.
But it's a perfect finishing touch to my spare bedroom so I'm very happy with my sunshine-y yellow rug!

Nothing, zip, zilch. Longest spell without even a small book win. Beginning to think it's because I went in for the wins in 2016 thingy lol! Still entering though as hoping for a big one to make up for such a long dry spell...

I used to be a super-keen slogan comper and rather good at it too, though I was Championship material rather than Premiership.

Slogan comps having vanished I now get most of my freebies by using what writing talent I have for writing reviews for Amazon, as both a Vine Voice and for free stuff from sellers.

I do miss the unexpected wins though so I was delighted to get two from survey sites points draws in April. One from World of Curiosity, £20 Boots voucher, and the other from GfK, just today, £25 Love to Shop voucher. I do wonder if only a limited number of people enter these? These draws are where you use points earned from completing online consumer surveys to enter prize draws run by the company.

I'm not particularly lucky, which is why I stopped entering competitions so much.
I was a lot more likely to win with a slogan than I was to win a prize draw, but having won three of these points draws in recent months I wonder if people don't bother much?
