Halifax Clarity Credit Card

I applied for a Clarity Card and I 'think' I have been approved, but wanted to check with other MSE posters based on their experience.
I received an email stating the card application has been successful and it will be in the post in the next few days.
However, on the final page of the actual application (once everything was complete), it stated that 'Assuming you clear our final checks your credit card (details below) will be posted to you in the next few days', which confuses me a tad as to indicate there is still a possibility of rejection.
Can anyone share their experiences?
I am really keen to utilize Clarity for overseas travel!
