Carers Allowance - Advance or Arrears?

Hi all
Trying to figure out how much my wife received in CA last tax year, so i can do her tax return.
Not sure if she was getting it at the beginning of the tax year or not.
Are payments paid in arrears or advance? First payment she got was 19th June for £621 (10 weeks worth), then next was 13th July £248 and the same every 4 weeks after. If paid in arrears, i can just count back 14 weeks from 13th July to get the start date, but if advance, 10wks
