Paying HSBC CC from a non-HSBC bank account

Hi people

I've recently got an HSBC credit cart and I have to say, it is the most complicated set up I've ever gone through !

The online banking set up procedure has a ridiculous amount of security questions. While I appreciate security is important, this is way over the top.

Making payments from a non HSBC bank account is very difficult and the website has no information on how to do this at all. The online chat are clueless and trying to get through to them on the phone is impossible, with constant long wait times when phoning at various times during the day.

Anyway, to my question .. does anyone happen to know what the account/sort code is for paying the balance of an HSBC Visa card beginning with 4546 3848 ?

I;m trying to pay from my Lloyds account. The 'pay a company' lists a number of HSBC accounts, but none for this C.C.

Your statement should provide the sort code/account number.

I'm yet to receive my first statement so hopefully that will have all the information I require.

I would set up a direct debit... However I pay my HSBC card to

Sort code 40-42-46 Account - 09003649

Card number goes into reference.
