Anyone other than Thomson sell Thomson holidays? xxx

Hi guys,

I am actually a travel agent for a company, and normally book my own holidays. Thing is, with prices the way they are at the moment, Thomson are beating anything I can get, plus with their UK exclusive hotel deals they are looking as the only option.

Are there other companies that sell Thomson packages that aren't Thomson just so I can shop around?

I am struggling finding any for May 2017 departure.

Why can't you book through Thomsons, is it a clause in your contract that you can't book with rival travel agents?
Where were you looking to go?

I think they are unethical, and I didn't like the man on the phone knowing that it is a Thomson only hotel. They don't "compete" and he said if I get a better price to let him know, which I haven't done.

I have just booked with 2bookaholiday.com as I used them before and they beat the price without even trying!

That's why I don't want to book with Thomson

If you think they're unethical why did you want to book with them at all? Direct or not they still make a profit.

Because unfortunately they have the monopoly on a lot of the main hotels in the Caribbean/Mexico.

So have no choice unless I want to be completely stupid and pay thousands more.

Was just asking as nice to help out other smaller companies which I did by not booking direct.
