Internet Bills on DRO
Options
Hi I am a few weeks into my DRO.
I notice the bank has sent my internet monthly payment (via card) but the internet company (EE) has not taken the payment as they normally do.
Does that mean there is a problem because I am on a DRO with the internet company- normally my payments have gone out by 15th and nothing is showing on my statement although the funds are on hold for the payment from NWB. On my online statement from EE though it does not show anything as outstanding yet. Obviously I am concerned the internet will cut off and I will not be able to assess these forums etc
Will I have been blacklisted by the internet company. I am the person who pays the internet bill so could cause big rows at home..
Advice would be appreciated. Surely the internet company should let me know first if there is a problem?

Hi
If you owed a debt to EE or one of their associated companies it's possible they might cancel your account, but they should notify you before hand. If you don't owe them money I'm not sure why they would cancel purely because of a DRO, but there may be an insolvency clause in the contract. Either way you'll need to ask them why the payment wasn't taken.
