Why the ***? What has been censored?
What has this got to do with my simply answering the question posed by Andypk on how much line rental is going to be after the price increase is implemented?
(According to the MSE article the % price increase on line rental is miniscule compared to the 15.4% increase on standard bb. Surely you would want to major on that in your rant against the increases, rather than pick on posters just trying to help answer a query)0 -
Gotta pay for the Infinity 1 speed increase, new UK call centres & 2 day fault repair some how.0

I can't help but wonder if all phone and broadband uses are paying for the extraordinary amounts of money for sport rights even if they don't subscribe to sports TV channels. I find it hard to fathom the justification for the large rises over recent years when inflation is almost 0%.
With all the other providers playing follow my leader in also raising their prices there is no real competition to offer value for money.0 -

Don't forget the line rental also includes weekend calls to 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 numbers. Without those calls, the line rental would be less. I guess a large proportion of the line rental also contributes to broadband and TV costs.0

Calls that many people don't need as their mobile contracts have inclusive minutes.0 -
