WTC on Umbrella company payment scheme

Can anyone help.
Im looking to go on the agency to find work but the agency with the most work around here don't pay paye but bay into a umbrella company where you are a director and get paid weekly with travel expenses etc taken off.
Can anyone please tell me if and how I will be able to claim WTC using this method of payment.

It's just the umbrella form of payment that I'm confused about0

A company director is considered an employee for tax credits.
You'll be expected to declare your salary, any benefits, dividends etc.0
