Help with hotel rooms or holiday camps

Hi.
I am trying to price up holidays for July. We need to fly out between the 21st-24th July and want to go for 7nts.
I am getting quotes for package holidays of around the 3k mark which is just too expensive imo. I am not overly bothered where we go but quite fancy places like the Canaries, Balearics, Portugal or South of France
The problem I am having is that we are a family of 6 and as such a lot of hotels require me to book 2 rooms, which bumps up the price somewhat, or some offer 2 bedrooms and involve 2 people sleeping in the living room, which doesn't suit us: we want 3 bedrooms.
I am more than happy to book either package or individually and have found plenty of flights for between 750-950 for all of us, but I am then struggling to find accommodation. I have considered private villas, hotels, campsite type places.. and have come to the conclusion that We don't really want a private villa as we want to be around people on a complex.. We would consider hotel rooms if we could find a large family suite or connecting rooms chea enough and we are happy to stay on caravan type complexes..
SO - My questions...
Apart from Siblu, Eurocamp, Canvas and Yelloh; are there any other holidays parks I can check out in the above mentioned areas...
Apart from Alpha rooms; are there any other independant hotel booking sites that I can check out for the above destinations.
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated too.
Many thanks for reading, if you got this far!

There's also http://www.pierreetvacances.com/gb-en
Booking.com is good and you can do wide searches. For apartments search 6 people in one room, for larger ones 8 people in one room.
Salou has a lot of apartments, Costa Brava has a lot of camping.
Google maps can be useful.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Vacancsoleil have lots of camping/holiday park options, Cote d'Azur options for 7nights at that time in July are between £1000 and £1400 for a 3 bed mobile home, some of them near enough to towns/villages that you could use public transport rather than needing a car if you wanted to explore. They have lots of locations and options and tend to be cheaper than Eurocamp for similar options"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux0

Thank you both for your replies. I will add those sites to my list

Fingers crossed I can find something suitable and cheap enough
