Praise for Lidl

Praise for the nice lady on checkout in Lidl last night that spontaneously pulled out from under the till a newspaper discount voucher someone had handed over earlier and scanned it against our shop getting us a fiver off.

She didn't have to, but we appreciated it. Thank you. :T

There are nice people in this world & I wish we could put a name to some of them but here we'll just have to delight that Lidl have at least one lovely employee.

When finding a particular worker in Tesco very helpful (he was offering to help people, who couldn't reach items in freezers) I had a word with customer service.


They identified him, from my description and said they were glad to add my comment to their files, as they have a staff award scheme for those staff receiving compliments.

staff reward scheme does not work for employees that have cost their company money (£5 voucher in this case)
