Tips for driving to Twickenham stadium?

Wife and friends going to Twickenham for the Police gig on Saturday night and am toying with the idea of dropping them off and picking them up myself as a cab from where I live (near Jct 2 M40) is £100 there and back.
Anyone got any experience of travel to and from Twickenham when there is a big event on? Going to be 55,000 there, apparently. Public transport doesn't seem to be an option as most services go back into London and we're west of the M25.
