It is very easy to stop these callers in their tracks.

Firstly, ask for their full names and the company they represent. Then let them go through their spiel. At the end say please listen carefully - I did not incur any injuries whatsoever from the accident you refer to. To make a claim for injuries I did not sustain would be fraudulent. If I receive another call from you regarding this I will assume you are inciting me to commit fraud and I will report you personally to the police and your company to the regulatory body. Please remove my number and detais from your database.

I know this works because my mil was plagued with calls after she hit a stationary car and one of my kids who works in a related field gave her that advice.

I had an accident in October 2014, car written off but I was fine, no harm done, no claim. Thank heavens for modern car safety thingies. I am still getting these calls now - had one yesterday in fact - but what I say is "Can you claim twice?" and when they ask why, I tell them that it was all settled and I was paid (I make up a figure depending on my mood). Once they realise they're not going to get any business, they go away. The calls are slowing down, but as soon as I see a number I don't recognise, I guess that's what's coming. I will try AndyPandyBoy's tactic too.
