Nationwide credit card online application

Options
Hi All

I'm attempting to do a soft search/applicaiton on the Nationwide site for a credit card. I get the first page of the application and then a message saying something has gone wrong when going through to the next page.

Is this a problem anyone else is having?

I don't really want to phone them as I want to do a soft search intially.

No, it is a more detailed indicaiton.

The Nationwide soft search gives you a proposed credit limit and APR. It's much more of an indication if you will be accepted or not and as it also takes you through to the full application you go through the soft search anyway.

The problem you describe sounds 'cookie' related. Your browser may be blocking the required small file that enables you to proceed to the next step.

Try adding the nationwide site to your browsers trusted sites zone. Its an issue I often have as I run a browser with high security settings for anything financial.

Thanks, tried your suggestion. Deleted all cookies and checked security settings, also tried from other computers, different IP addresses and different browsers but still no joy so I shall presume it is a website problem and try again later.
