Perhaps a bit off-topic, but how exactly is it dated?
I thought it looked quite "swish".

The processing is old fashioned and lacking a lot of detail. You may tart up the front end but the backend needs a lot of work.
I don't think you are the first person who has stated on this forum that Fidelity looks dated.... but I am at a loss as to who looks better, and what their platform looks like.

I suppose I have seen a good number of them and I compare it to those. A lot of the issues I have with them are intermediary related. Everything just takes so much more work. If you only have a multi-asset fund, its not really an issue. If you want to run a portfolio on it, then its a lot of hard work.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

If you want bad, take a look at the L&G pension fund platform. The Aegon one is pretty bad too. I could not figure out how to transfer into a given fund, as the code in the drop down list bore no relation to the fund name, or rather it could match to many.
