Firstly, WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO Aesop :j:j:j:j:j that's an awesome result! So happy for you!!! What joy you'll have using it to pay off some other horrible debt! Just think of the interest saved :money:

And yes KM, I do remember the missing moisturiser :D I was gutted for you that day and kept hoping it would show up somewhere. Boo, but yay that you got lots more today for not a lot of money!

So we're 5 days in and I don't have a lot to report. I'm biding my time. But what I do have to report makes me happy....my £19.47 that's in my signature is all interest from cleverly using current accounts to my advantage! It took a bit of setting up but this is the first month I've done it and there should be more to come before the end of the month. Yay to free money!!!

I really love your cheery and encouraging posts, Siouxsie:T

Well done on your bank interest:T. It just goes to show that the initial work getting things organised really does pay off. Here's to lots more money coming your way:beer:

And I do agree with you about free money. It's the best kind:dance:

It gets easier, keep reading, someone will mention something of benefit to you.

I went to aldi today as we have one opened locally and even DS was surprisedat how cheap our shopping was. He is always with me so learning about budgeting, expensive things, looking for bargains and checking measurements for best price.

Aldi & lidl are both great - the only thing you may find is that the veg doesn't last as long as the premium S/mkts - you need to eat it within a few days, but at the prices you can afford to waste a little until you get a "feel" of it.

It always cheers me up to read of everyone's different ways of making a bit (often a lot:T) of extra money. Well done everyone:beer:

I'm feeling really chuffed with myself this morning as I've just received £85 in my bank account from an online focus group I did recently:j. The best bit was that the fee was £35 but the client awarded a 'prize' of an extra £50 to the participant who submitted the most 'thoughtful' and detailed answers.

I tried my best to write something useful and 'different' each time which wasn't easy with so many questions and things to evaluate which were pretty 'samey':(. Plus, I tried to say a lot in a succinct way (and as you'll all know that's not easy for me:o:rotfl:).

Upshot was I won the 'prize'. I'm embarrassingly easily pleased:o

Lovely sunny morning here. Have a great day everyone:beer:
Fantastic, well done. It pays to be detailed and unique like you were. You deserve the prize for being so honest and detailed. Xx
