Is having a high limit on credit cards bad?

Something I've never gotten about Lloyds is that I got rejected for a Avios card twice despite having a Platinum account (since dropped to Classic, cost wasn't worth it), savings/investments and loan (nearly paid off now!) with them and actually thinking about it, HSBC are of a similar kind when it comes to this.Ironically, I use my Lloyds Avios credit card most, and they wont increase my limit from £1k.
Barclaycard and MBNA are the best for for high limits as well as American Express if you put through enough each month on one of their cards.0 -
If you don't use £15k on both cards, what's the point of having them ?
I use my cards up to nearly the full limits, only on 0% BT's or purchase deals, then they are cleared and show as settled on the credit reference sites.
New ones are then applied for.
What is the point of having a card if you can't make money from it.
I do keep the odd card that gives money back for spends but they also change regularly.0
