Uk cps appeal rejected

We've seen no examples of appeals and decisions where a pattern has emerged which could give you confidence in getting an IAS appeal upheld, other than where there is absolute evidence, not open to interpretation. For example where the person being pursued proved that he/she was out of the country at time of the parking event.
Are you not going to follow Coupon-mad's suggestion of registering your intention to appeal so you get to see what the PPC is going to produce as evidence? Sometimes they send nothing - then you could win. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

            Thanks @umkomaas
So if I wait and see their evidence on the IAS appeal and I don't submit my appeal, I do not lose the right to pay the reduced amount, do I? It's not that I am thinking of that but it is good to know.0 -

This is a totally unregulated industry. I can't tell you 'yes' or 'no' to your question. What timescale does the PCN give for paying the reduced amount?
Certainly if you actually appeal you lose the 'discount'. How they will treat an 'intent', who knows? You don't want to be paying anything, so why concern yourself about a 'discount'?
Don't forget, neither the PPC nor the IPC can instruct you to pay. That authority lies only with a Judge. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I have another 10 days to pay at a reduced fare. The nice fella on the phone confirmed that just by accessing to IAS you will have to pay the full amount.0

He would say that, wouldn't he? It's never advised to phone a PPC (or debt collector). Nothing to your advantage results! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Please, any advice on whether I should go through IAS?
Thanks0 -
I mean, after checking the photos and thinking if there is a case or not. The main point here is the lack of signage, just this signal I show on the main front is the only one, tiny, fixed to the Pub signal and not visible for the driver as it is facing the road. There are more signals on site, on the fences and front of the pub but not in the front facing the road. In addition, there was nothing in the entrance.

Please read post #3 of the newbies sticky which covers the pros and cons of appealing to the IAS. Have a read there and make your mind up, but unless you've got evidence that is indisputable (not subject to interpretation by the IAS) then chances of success are slim to none.
Overall, fewer than 20% are successful. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thanks a lot, umkomaas, I have done it and I have also found other IAS winning cases similar to mine, with no signals in the entrance and no visible ones on site, this is why I am so confused and desperate for someone to have a look at my photos and suggest something.0
