MSE blagged code on sky

Hi

I saw the unique code for sky tv on the front page and wondered if my house was eligible

I currently have the full package including BB and phone but deal is about to end.

Can my wife sign up to the offer and me to cancel my contract? The q&a bit at the end of the piece talks about 'you' are not eligible if you've had sky in the last 12 months but nothing about someone else in the house?

'You' refers to the family and not an individual.

Some have got away with being 'new', if the partner has a different name and bank account, but run the risk of having to keep to the contracted time but at full price, if caught.

If it's anything like Virgin then you can sign up in your wife's name no issue so long as she uses a separate bank account during sign up or you can say you're getting a divorce and you're the one moving out but the wife wants to keep Sky etc. but obviously only if asked.

Cashback sites usually state that their offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other.

Is there anyway round this though? I've read some posters in the passed have amended the tracking URL which allowed the cashback to track successfully?
  • I have tried today and no luck as my Wife has it in her name due to us pulling a similar stunt when we moved house. This time however, they class 'you' as your address :(

That has always been the case ie the household is the customer and not just the account holder.

You are free to haggle, as the rest of us do.
