Cancelling Car Servicing Plan

Hi folks,
I don't know the answer and i'm sure i'm soon to find out in the morning, but I was after others experiences to pre-empt what I may come up against.
I bought a Vauxhall Zafira last September and agreed too one of their 3 year MOT & Service plans.
It's £16.99 per month and to date, i've only had 1 MOT at the beginning of this month, which had no issues.
So, i'm more than likely selling the car next week, in a part exchange at another garage so wondering what will happen when I call Arriva and ask them to cancel the 3 year plan.
Am I likely to be forced to pay up the full 3 years? Will they just say ok, as i've probably contributed more in cash than i've had in works.
Anyone else had an experiences of this?
Many thanks in advance.

What do the terms and conditions say?0 -
In future better to just self insure and put the £16.99 a month away in a bank account incase of any repair work.0

You've not bought a monthly product that expires after three years - you've bought a three-year product, with the full three-year payment spread monthly.
You are entirely at the mercy of the Ts & Cs.0 -
Apologies for not replying at the time folks, and thanks for your advice.
I cancelled it and had no extra commitment to pay off. In fact, i'd been paying the £16.99 for about 10 months, only ever had one services that required no extra parts and they ended up sending me a refund of about £90.00.
I was happy enough with that0 -

The car was a Vauxhall Zafira and the service plan sold to me by my local Vauxhall Drive showroom, was through a company called EMAC Ltd0

I had one with EMAC too - 2 year service plan and sold car before 1st service due - full refund with no questions asked0 -

This is a service plan, not a warranty, you pay a monthly amount and it covers the cost of your cars routine servicing and MOTs for a set period, 2 or 3 years being the most common option.
In the case mentioned that would be £611 for 3 services and MOTs at a main dealer, so not excessive, certainly cheaper than paying for each service/MOT separately.
I'm tempted to sign up but my car is 5 years old now and not sure I want/need it to be main dealer serviced when it's 8 but good to know they refund any overpayments if you sell/wreck the car.0
