Hi
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of booking a late deal holiday abroad in the childrens summer holidays?
We left it a little late and prices have increased a lot so decided to just save and book with thomson/first choice a few weeks before..
We can only go on 30th july for 1 or 2 weeks due to work commitments?
Has anyone any experience of doing similar and is there much saving to be made? ☺
Thanks in advance

You're taking a big risk if your dates aren't flexible and in the middle of peak season. You could end up with hardly any choice, and prices won't necessarily be any lower. Have a look at doing it yourself rather than a package.0

Your options are likely to be Greece or Turkey, Spain and Portugal and the Canary Islands are already packed for the summer school holidays0

I wouldn't leave it late this year...with nobody or few people going to Tunisia Egypt Turkey and numbers for Greece well down the rest of the med area is filling up fast
The price we paid this year for flights hotel car hire have all increased by about 20% on previous 3 years for the Algarve0
