Have you got the latest version of Firefox? My Dad had the same problem with it warning him about a site connected to his electricity company. After he'd called them they confirmed it was legit and that a certain version of Firefox was throwing up the errors.

Many of us have been sent the free items and all you're giving them is your name & address, no payment details.

Yes - Firefox 46.0.1. I'd not be too bothered about it, were it not for the fact that well-respected antivirus software (Kaspersky) is also throwing out a warning message and blocking access on an entirely different browser.

I take your point entirely about the limited data being transmitted, but I do prefer to avoid my name, address and email address being passed freely around and sold wherever it will fetch a few pennies.

If these people cant cope with the basic matter of site security, I'm afraid I want nothing to do with them - particularly just for a cheap freebie. :)
  • Thanks for sharing this tip. Just ordered it. Looking forward to seeing what colour it will be.

I'm using Firefox and Kaspersky and had no such problem - nothing was flagged as insecure.

Firefox on my computer also flagged up security issues when I tried to register for an offer in the future.
Guess I will give it a miss!
