    Many thanks, god bless you:)

How long does it take on average for them to come back with yes?

If you keep calling for update which i think it is recorded, will it raise any suspecion ?

I hope mine doesn't get pulled for Audit. The Broker requested my whole life and more so they have everything if needed. When would you know if Halifax has chosen your case to be audited?

    hi all,

my bloody mortgage advisor does not reply to any emails. a truly useless person so have to keep going through the normal customer services to get an update.

it is nerve racking and very stressful

is it normal to offer the mortgage and then suddenly say let us see your payslips?

does that mean the earlier underwriter was dumb ?

    No it doesn't

However borrowers do have a tendency to be impatient and create unnecessary work in the process.

    so what does it mean?

why did the first underwriter not ask for anything?
he was surely dumb or else would have asked for this.

come on, I am not impatient. You know there are 1000s of things to do and very stressful and it doesn't help when you have a firm offer and suddenly more documentation

how do you feel if that happened to you ?

Halifax don't request bank statements from the broker, as the broker should have done their due diligence. The broker should have had bank statements 3 months, 3 months payslips and ID with proof of deposit. Also anything else that is needed. I'm surprised they are asking you to provide this now. Seems like a dodgy broker, did they even supply you a KFI mortgage illustration before the Application ?

You come across as very impatient and slightly immature... It happens, get over it and be a bit more patient.

Some applications get pulled for audit exactly for that reason, it's an audit and it can happen to anyone. So just let them get on with it and do what they ask.

if you keep calling twice a day for update, does this raise any suspection or do any damage ?

I am planning to complete within next 10 days and this has messed it all up.

I know they make a note on their system every time you call.

does underwriter look at that and say this guy must be stressed etc and cause more problems?
