Well it will almost certainly affect your affordability with most lenders. A decent broker would be able to advise whether it was worth paying it off.

So you would suggest going via a broker? Silly question but do they charge?

I know credit score as such doesn't mean much but mine is saying poor-fair. Does this have a bearing as to be honest I don't want to have any credit cards etc and my aim is to get rid of Littlewoods asap. Car loan was taken out June 2015,all payments made and on time. Just checked Noddle and the amount is slightly less than I thought.
