Help with TV tuning

I think my grandson must have pressed some buttons on my SKY controller. Now when I switch the tv on it comes up with blank screen apart from 10 EC1/RGB. To get the picture up I have to press the tv/av button several times. Every time I switch off and on have to go through this procedure. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get back to just getting the picture on when I switch on without all the hassle.

This is an online version of the manual, but I can't anything obvious there.

The Sky box needs to have "Scart control" switched on (assuming a SCART connection rather than HDMI). The menu on which this setting is held is Services then 4 then 1. (Probably, it's been a while since I've seen a Sky box).

Try the source button, they may have changed the source of the signal. Adjust up & down till it matches which type of cable you use.

This is nothing to do with tuning, its is "Power on AV input select", Panasonic are one of a few manufacturers who offer it. Is in the TV's setup menu.

As Inner Zone says, and presumably you want to select 'TV' or 'Tuner' instead of 'SCART' or 'AV1' or similar which he has managed to select. Also make sure a SCART lead isn't loose into the back of your TV.

It depends on the age of the Panasonic.

Our old one would automatically show the Sky screen when the Sky box was switched on (after the tv ), but this newer one (like all newer ones, I was informed by Richer Sounds) only shows Sky automatically if, before switching off,Sky was the last input and the TV button not pressed.

If tv via aerial was last watched,it is necessary to press the AV button and confirm HDMI2,which is the Sky input .
