hi all.
I am about to start a postgrad course and thought i had enough money to fund it. i haven't planned my expenditure very well and assumed stupidly that i could use my savings to help me live. it turns out i didn't add it up very well and it won't last that long. i thought i had sorted out a job to help me in term time but that has fell through. don't know quite what i expected to gain from posting this, but any advice welcome.

Hi Holly,
Don't really know what to suggest, could you maybe look into a bank loan to cover you? Maybe get registered with a few agencies for temp work (although this might not be too great around term time as the hours can be quite fixed unless you get lucky). Would also apply for as many other suitable jobs in the area as possible... Sorry I know am probably stating the obvious lol I tend to do that early in the mornings!!!
Good luck with both your finances and course,

Speak to your bank for a loan. However, take into account the interest that you might have to face after graduation.
Take part-time job. You might be able to find some good info at the Student Union or some job centre in your neighborhood.
Lastly, you ought to control your expenses. Don't always aim at the inflow when you don't minimise outflow.
Good Luck0
