Need a new steam generator iron

We now need a new iron, but there are so many to choose from.
Has anybody here got recommendations on good brands/models please?
Also.. Any to avoid.

I have a Rowenta silence steam one. It's a lot quieter than others i've had. I was £250 for mine but i've since seen it as low as £150. Also i've had a couple of Tefal's in the past and they plates have got really messy. The Rowenta has a stainless steel one, and it rarely gets messy, and if it does I just rub a cheap paracetamol caplet on in and it comes off really easily. I'll go get a link for the iron.0

I wouldn't advise getting one where you have to buy replacement filters. It can end up being very expensive.0
