Can anyone recommend it? Or vice versa? I like the idea of paying a flat £50 for downloads for the year, but I understand you can only download some things for a short period of time, and then you have to pay for them.
As far as the selection of music goes I've been farily impressed; there aren't many big name artists on there, but I'd be unlikely to be buying those anyway.

Newsgroups and https://www.newzbin.com for £2 every 2-3months.
Some ISP's dont allow Newsgroups, and even worse some ISP's cap the amount you download now so be careful.0 -
Downloading music from newsgroups is not legal. There is also a chance that the file you download from a newsgroup could contain a virus. Be very careful if you decide to do this.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I'm only interested in Wippit as it is apparently the only legal site that allows you to download music without the licence protection.0
