Out of interest how much would this type of flat cost to rent in Dundee?

Not much less than that. Probably £375-400. Council tax would be cheap though. Rental prices in dundee arent as low as people think. In a city of 140k people there are 2 universities and a very transient population so flats of any size are always in demand. There are much better bargains on houses than flats in Dundee.

£375 sounds about right to me.

You could easily pay about that for renting a bedsit, especially if in a good area/good condition. You'd find a one bed for that money, or a slightly cheaper bedsit, if you shopped around though.
