Remember HSBC M&S badged Current AC, no minimum funding with a 6% Regular Saver...you could just leave HSBC sitting doing nothing, little or a DD ;)

Good idea, a ISA alone is just a savings account and not reported. use HSBC for some direct debits and transfer from TSB to cover them.

When you say not reported, do you mean on a credit report? Because my current account isn't either :(

It is a savings, only credit accounts appear, your HSBC does it have/had a overdraft ? a HSBC credit card under 6 years old ?

If you went overdrawn, authorised or not it would probably pop back up.

Yep...don't switch unless there is a cash bonus, which can be had by having a donor ie new/old account that is not used for regular banking.

Just open the new account and add DD's and payments when needed.

Not sure, I've only tried Experian. I contacted HSBC and they said its because I opened the account more than 10 years ago
