    If you are Elaine Darby and were born in 1984 I'd maybe not post this sort of thing using those details.
    loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • I wish it was that easy to think like that & last time I did get upset over it & am a bit less stressed this time but I still live at home so it's hard not to worry over it.

    After the first thought of "Another poor person with parents minus the financial sense one would expect by now" - my second thought here is OP looks as if she was born 1984 (judging by username). If this is correct - then you are in your 30s and need YOUR money YOURSELF.

    So - whatever you do don't use your own money (again) to bail them out. You need it yourself - not having your own house yet.
  • Being a Council house that your parents have - then I would guess that means they (and you) won't lose the roof over head whatever else happens. So that's one worry less.
