    If you like the look of Windows 7 then there are plenty of articles no how to make windows 10 looks like 7 using add-ons such as classic shell. That is the route I took and very happy with the result.

    I've long since upgraded all my machines, ranging from mini servers to desktop, tablet, laptop to Windows 10 from 7 or 8.1. Getting shot of the dire 8.1 was a great joy.

    I'd get on board now, the Windows 10 Anniversary release in June is packed with features (I'm on the insider preview)

    If your machine runs 8.1 and isn't a Sony, it's pretty likely to be OK with 10.
