    How heavy is heavy?

No good for what I consider to be heavy!

Each pair of small strips holds up to 450 g
Each pair of medium strips holds up to 1 Kg
    Dimensions of strips: small = 54 x 16 x 2 mm / medium = 70 x 19 x 2 mm

There is one way to do a job and that is: properly.

Get your drill out and some proper fixings.

All my curtains are up with command tape. And the granite house name plaque, the wall mounted toilet roll holders and magnetic knife rack. I would go with tape over hooks personally xxxx

If heavy... screw in some proper fixings (hollow wall ones if needs be) and affix properly.

If it's behind a picture, nobody'll notice if you do it slightly shabbily, anyway.

I have used command strips to hang pictures and mirrors. But have been generous with the numbers

Command strips work very well. The weight they will hold is on the front of the packet, so just check it and use the correct strips.
