Hallfords auto centre free check is any good

I've booked my car for free check using their website and took my car and the guy said they dont have space for free test and the website books without knowing their local diary and pre booked.
This guy at least would have called me and saved my journey/time/petrol, he didn't do that as well.
If you book for any free test please make sure we are around with many 'clever' people so make sure and confirm with them before you go there.

I'd complain to the people you booked with if you still want it but I'm not sure its worth the effort.0

Problem with "free" checks is that they often come up with work that probably isn't immediately necessary or in some case not necessary at all. Find yourself a good local independent garage, word of mouth is usually the best way, who specialises in your make of car and ignore the so called free checks from the likes of Halfords.0
