Bit of a rant really!
My wife's Experian score has been bleating about not being on the electoral role, while I'm sat holding both our council letters saying we've been successful at being added.
I've since noticed that the council letters all have our postcode one character wrong. I suspect this is the cause of the problem.
I'm not sure of the vehicle used for transferring our data from the council to Experian, but my concern is that if I don't keep an Experian account active and paid-up, then this sort of mistake could have hung around for a lot longer. I do know that councils won't retroactively add your time in a property to the register, so we've essentially lost the last 7 months (when we moved in). Also, why should I have to pay Experian indefinitely.
I feel aggrieved - we pay CT, and we pay Experian, yet we're forced to run around doing the chasing and investigating.
Am I wrong to be angered by all this?
