A Sainsburys has just opened up near us. As I like my ready meals for quick teas. Can any seasoned Sainsburys shoppers recommend a ready meal they like or but on a regular basis?

Macaroni and cheese. £2.30 but look at the level of fat. It's not a healthy meal at all....but it's very nice.
They are all quite nice really.

The Asian Teriyaki Salmon would probably be a better choice. £3.60

Although I cook most meals from scratch, I still keep a few takeaway-style ready meals in the freezer in case plans change and we need something easy to cook in a hurry. From the Sainsbury range I can recommend their Indian meals, the ones in the round plastic dishes. One life - your life - live it!0

Whether its healthy or not is not an issue! As long as its tasty! :-)0

My husband likes the beef stew and dumplings. He had a M&S version last night, and said it wasn't as nice as the Sainsbury one.
I don't eat meat, so I can't comment on the majority of their range of ready meals, but the veggie curries are ok.0 -

I second the Indian meals. I especially like the Vegetable Biryani, and the Sweet Potato & Red Onion Bhajis. The Thai curries are nice too.0 -
I don't often shop at Sainsbury's but when I do I always pick up a Prawn Makhani. I usually prefer spicy Indian meals but I like this mild dish. I also haven't found an equivalent in other supermarkets.0

As are their curries from their Indian range.0 -
I find their Sausage & Mash and Cumberland Pie meals are very nice too.
The Steak & Mash is also nice. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
Frozen - healthy eating - Chicken Lemon Rissoto - about £1.20.
Otherwise, the Liver & Onions, is quite good, and the Gammon usually at £1.75.
