I'm just wondering at the need to post this on three seperate boards on MSE. Probably best if you ask the appropriate BGs to move two of the threads and combine them all so that people know where you expect the responses. The only issue I have is that they managed to spell my first name wrong which annoys me every time I log in as it was correct before they swapped it over.
So I called the powers that be and was told "oh yes, there was a fault on the system..." and the email had been sent out to a number of customers in error. There was no email saying sorry it was an error, which I would expect.
Oyster is not perfect, but it is now fully integrated, the system operates intelligently, and their CS team bend over backwards to help. Dartcharge could learn a great deal from this other .gov.uk service.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I would have happily rocked up expecting to throw a couple of quid in a bucket had you not posted, so thanks for that.
Not that I plan to venture that close to London.Hi, we’ve decided to remove your signature.0 -

The idea that anyone has even sort of forced you to do anything:D:D

My case was systematically ignored and escalated (including signed-for postal mail) by Dartcharge, resulting in increased penalty and a threatened court action in the summer. Out of frustration, I then complained via Highways England and eventually everything was dropped. It turned out that the system had failed to apply my updated details to the account. Case closed.
Emovis manage operations on behalf of Dartcharge, and were at fault. Highways England on the other hand were very fair but there is no complete way of knowing how well a system works until you listen to the customer, and in my case, Emovis deliberately chose not to do that. I don't suppose any private contractor wants to acknowledge matters outside of what it is they are commissoned to do until there is financial impact to their bottom line.
So please don't be discouraged, if you think something is wrong with a system, let the powers that be know.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
