Is The SAMSUNG LE37R88BD LCD TV Any Good

I think I have narrowed down my choice to the SAMSUNG LE37R88BD

which is £615 at dixons online.


but as its a lot of money I am really scared of making a big mistake and regretting it!!!

I have read so much techie information that my head is spinning. I have tried AV Forums but it is so techie on there I cant understand what have then say.

Basically we want a high quality LCD TV either samsung or sony. We watch a lot of dvds and play ps2 and the nintendo wii as well on the tv.

Have I picked a good one for this?

Sorry to sound so dense but I have no idea about these really.

And then the whole debate about plasma and LCD has confused me even more

I am going to go to currys tomorrow and see it in the flesh, just not buy it from there

get them to plug a standard def dvd or some such into it, to give you an idea about the image quality.
