Rejection Letter For Financial Hardship Letter From Lloyds

I have just had the normal rejection letter for charges from six years ago for my husbands account from Lloyds.
After the letter I sent for my husband for the total charges and interest they sent an email asking my husband to ring them or email them of why he thinks its unfair. He did so but now they have sent the letter saying they tried to contact us by telephone and didnt manage to get in touch with us. I suspect they have not read the email.

Anyway do I now go to the ombudsman or send another template letter??

Its a while since I claimed for mine and got them.

My husband also has finished paying for a tesco personal loan that he took out ten years ago. Would there be any ppi on that as I got £900 back from northern rock for a car loan I took out in 2007 and it was northern rock that contacted me with the cheque attached and I had no idea I was due it?:)

As the bank won the "Unfair" charges court case you will not get bank charges back from 6 years ago (assuming you mean charges for not running the account correctly). The best your husband can hope for is a goodwill gesture from the bank if he is still getting charges and is in genuine current financial hardship.

There might have been PPI on the Tesco loan, why not ask Tesco financial services?

The reason it is normal is because that IS normal and to be expected.

You are 6 years too late. Unfair bank charge reclaims stopped in 2009 after the banks won the court case. Even the FOS no longer take on complaints about unfair charges.
