I rare.y posts on this thread although I do usually have a quick read.

This weekend, as every weekend, I try and have a little tidy/de clutter. A grotty ceramic plant pot was on my hit list for the tip until I found a tin of spray paint lurking in the shed. So, a quick spray and I have a nice, new home for one of my plants

    Great upcycling Zenshi :)

determined sorry to hear about your job. Is that the one with the amazing job share with your friend? How difficult. The article was about a blogger who earns £3,000 on the side. She has now quit her main job as she was only earning £1600 a month so her side hustles have become her income instead. Her blog is From Aldi to Harrods. If you pop onto the daily fail you will see it I'm sure.

So so far today I have been up to Mr T to grab a loaf. Nothing else strayed into my basket. I walked the baby up in the buggy for her fresh air and she fell asleep so I have been able to leave her parked in the lounge and get on. Have:
    Wiped down the kitchen counters
    Taken out the recycling
Dusted and organised our TV stand.
Listed a few DVDs on music magpie only £5.20 but still
Put a few items back out on the line that hadnt quite dried yesterday.
OH stripped the bed and that's now in the washing machine too.
    Thrown out a broken toy.
Taken 2 French bread ends out of the freezer to whizz up for bread crumb toppings for tonight's pasta bake.
Cooked a pack of 8 sausages for 3 lunchtime sandwiches then spirit 2 away for OHs lunchbox.

    Still to do.

Hoover the house. Always struggle to do the lounge as it's the room my son tends to always be in when we are home. TV, games stuff in there and toys....

Get load 2 dry weather allowing. Have not used the tumble dryer since March!!

Get OH to remake our bed.

I wanted to do some weeding but it's cold and a bit damp....

    Bye for now.

    Bob

Morning frugal pals. Happy Sunday :hello:

Thanks fir the nudge in CTF. We have one for our eldest, will look to move it, it's doing ok but I think it could do better. Lovely day yesterday. Sorted through both DD drawers and took out everything they had grown out of. Will either sell (youngest) or save for youngest for eldest clothes. 'Shopped' for new clothes in my next size up box :D checked summer wear so I can check anything we might need for holiday - nope :T

Also managed to dry two loads outside, have just pegged out another that I washed overnight on 30. Including 2 dressing gowns, 1 to sell, one to keep for youngest.

I also moved a unit from hall to lounge - looks lovely and we can now use it for display rather than storage, so saving money trying to find baskets to go in it :D

We're trying not t spend any money as we have our remortgage appointment on Tuesday and they will go through our account :o so today will be frugal:

    Off for a run shortly
Clean oven with minimal no toxic products - done
Get ready for week ahead, packed lunches, ironing etc...
Check card box and write list of ones need for next couple of months
DD to party, present from box
Clean drawer on washing machine - may put in DW for proper wash ;)
Try and list a couple of bits on fleabay
    Bump FB listings
Donate some swim nappies I found yesterday to pal

    Check back later. PF

Done everything on my list. One thing on fleabay with a bid already :) spent £15 on cards and wrapping paper but that takes me to the end of June. All filled in my date box.

My washing machine drawer us looking sparkly :T
