Overpayment from deceased estate

Or could anyone expand on the quote as to what was meant.
If the deceased was on guaranteed pension credit (any amount, even only a quid a week) then s/he would have been entitled to full housing- and council tax benefit. It appears, s/he was not entitled to guaranteed pension credit (due to capital of 60k and not in an 'assessed income period') then s/he would not have been entitled to any housing- or council tax benefit.
You'll have to wait until the deceased's local council has concluded their investigation.0 -
