Interest on loan does not add up. Could it be hidden PPI?

Seem to be quite a few off-topic posts on this thread.
The Op believes PPI could be hidden and, as a result, also believes that he had hidden PPI; but only because his sums are not correct.0 -

If it is in the paperwork then it is not hidden.
If you do not read the document that is not normally the fault of the business. I say normally because it can be the case that it is misleading. Also there was a recent case at FOS where the ombudsman was not persuaded that a business could hide behind a form that it got the customer to sign knowing that she could not read.addedvaluebob wrote: »they needed the loan and did not look beyond the cost to see if it was affordable
In the end, though, there is little point in the OP asking the lender if it is hidden PPI. That is a closed question. They can simply say "no".
Better to ask why the monthly payment they have calculated differs from the one actually charged.0
