How quickly do you receive Barclaycard?

Applied on Sunday, did not receive "instant decision" but a "please wait" one. On Wednesday, got an email saying all is good and the card is coming. Logged in online, I can see everything, but can't do balance transfer as I must activate my card first. Checking the post box every day... How quickly do they dispatch the card? Or is there a way to do balance transfers before activating the barclaycard? I am going away on thursday and was hoping to trigger the balance transfer before then.

Within 7-10 days of acceptance usually.

I had mine very quickly....5 days or so!

I applied the previous sunday evening. Was accepted instantly.
However didnt get the welcome email until Thursday, so there was possibly a manual delay.
I got the card on the Friday (yesterday).

In all a reasonably quick process.
