What is a rough price for a removal company to move a two bed semi to a 3 bed semi. It's about 2 miles away.
Also we have a largish wardrobe that would not fit down the stairs . So would they take it apart or is that up to us before they come.
We are in the midlands area

When we got quotes to move from a three bed they varied dramatically. In the end we moved ourselves because it seemed an awful lot of money when we were more than capable of doing it ourselves. (With a little help from a friend for the bits I was not capable of helping with like sofa, wardrobe and king size bed)0

Have a few companies round to give you a quote. They will ask you what you want them to do. If you want them to dismantle beds or other furniture they will do so. If you said you'd do it and by the time the day comes it hasn't been done then they will still do it, they are normally very accommodating - its what they do all day every day, they understand. However they might charge a bit more.
When you have an idea when you're likely to move then they will pencil you in, and once you know for sure you book them. Depending how much notice there is, you may or may not be able to use the company you want due to availability, so it's well worth staying in touch with a couple until the last minute.0 -
I moved our house before with my brother and we have a few more items now we have a LO. So ideally a removal company but hoping for between 400/600 quid0

Any estimation we give you is useless compared to an actual quotation from someone who's come round to see how much stuff you've got."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0

That's right, my quotes varied wildly so you need to get people in as early as possible.0
